Why it matters

Most Solar Problems Start on Install Day

Leaking roof attachments. Loose connections. Panels that never produced what the proposal promised. An installer who stopped answering the phone. None of that shows up on day one. It shows up years later, on your roof and on your bill.

We see the results on the systems we are called to remove, reset and repair across Texas. So when we install a new system, we build it the way we wish every system had been built: sealed, documented and proven to work.

Solar is a long-term investment that will sit on your roof for decades. It should be installed by people who will still be around to service it.

Before you sign with anyone: ask who will actually be on your roof, how roof penetrations are sealed and what proof you get that the system is producing. Our answers are in writing, in every quote.

Our process

Our 6-Step Solar Installation Process

From the first roof visit to the first kilowatt-hour, every step is planned, documented and shared with you. No guessing about what happens next.

  1. Assess

We inspect your roof, structure, electrical panel and shading, and review 12 months of electric bills to size the system to how your home actually uses power.

You getA site report and an honest answer on whether solar fits your home.

  2. Design

We lay out the array, select panels, inverters and racking for your roof, and prepare engineered plans with a production estimate.

You getA custom design, production estimate and written, itemized quote.

  3. Permit

We prepare the city permit, the HOA submittal when needed and the interconnection application with your utility, then track every approval.

You getStatus updates until every approval is in hand.

  4. Install

Our licensed crew installs flashed attachments, racking, panels, inverters and wiring, keeps the roof watertight and leaves the site clean.

You getPhotos of every stage, including what ends up hidden under the panels.

  5. Inspect

We meet the city inspector on site and coordinate the utility’s final approval, called permission to operate, before the system goes live.

You getA passed inspection and permission to operate.

  6. Activate

We power the system up, confirm production with monitoring and meter readings, set up your app and walk you through how everything works.

You getA signed install report, monitoring access and your warranty documents.

Before you decide

Is Solar Right for Your Home?

Solar works best on a sound roof with good sun exposure, in a home that uses enough electricity to make the savings count. We look at all of it before we recommend a system, and we will tell you if the numbers do not work.

Check your roof first. If your roof is near the end of its life, replace it before the panels go on. It costs far less than paying for a solar panel removal for roof replacement a few years later.

Think about shade and orientation. South and west facing roof planes with little shade produce the most. Trees, chimneys and dormers change the design, and we account for them in the production estimate.

Know your usage. Your past bills tell us how big the system should be. Bigger is not always better if you would export most of it for little credit.

How long does a new solar installation take in Texas?

Most residential systems take one to three days on the roof. The full project, from signed design to permission to operate, usually takes several weeks because city permits, inspections and utility approval run on their own schedules. We give you a timeline for your city and utility with your quote.

Do I need a permit and utility approval to install solar in Texas?

Yes. Texas cities generally require a building or electrical permit and an inspection, and your utility must approve the interconnection before the system can operate. We prepare and submit the paperwork, meet the inspector and coordinate the final approval for you.

Is my roof ready for solar panels?

Solar should last decades, so the roof under it matters. If your roof is near the end of its life, it is usually cheaper to replace it before the panels go on than to pay for a remove and reset later. We check roof condition during the assessment and tell you plainly.

Which solar panel and inverter brands do you install?

We work with major brands including Tesla, Enphase, SolarEdge and Fronius. We recommend equipment based on your roof, shading and goals, and install it to manufacturer specifications so warranties stay valid.

Can I add a battery to my solar system?

Yes. A battery can be installed with the new system or added later. We design the system so storage is easy to add, and we explain what backup power can and cannot cover in your home.

My HOA has rules about solar. Can I still install?

In most cases, yes. Texas law generally prevents HOAs from banning rooftop solar, although some can set reasonable rules about placement. We prepare the HOA submittal with your design so approval does not hold up the project.

How much does a new solar system cost?

It depends on system size, equipment, roof type and whether you add a battery. After the free assessment you get a written, itemized quote, so you can compare it line by line with any other offer.

What happens after the installation?

You get monitoring on your phone, a signed install report and your warranty documents. If something needs attention, or your roof needs to be replaced years from now, you call the same local team that installed it.
